Meet the Speaker:
Julie Pecson has always been fascinated with space – she wanted to be an astronaut. Instead, she’s found an amazingly rewarding career in the aerospace industry. While working at Lockheed Martin (LM), she has worked on NASA satellite projects, military satellites to detect missile launches around the world, and advanced hypersonic interceptors to protect our country. Prior to her current role at LM, Julie was an engineering program director at Planet Labs where they built and launched over 150 “Dove” satellites during her tenure to detect changes on Earth.
