Cyber security - From attacks on data to attacks on flesh, blood and steel
Cybersecurity is undergoing a significant shift - A shift from threats on data and information to threats that affect flesh, blood and steel. This session will explore this big shift, and talk about how cyber attackers are using everyday people like you and me, to create advanced attacks. The session will walk through a scenario where a high school student can be used to compromise an organization's secrets and intellectual property. The session will talk about APT (Advanced Persistent Threats), and the growing talent shortage (and the associated large job opportunity) that we have to address this.
