Meet the Speaker:
Anand Govind is a Managing Director at Citi where he co-leads their AI Investment Banking efforts advising companies on their most strategic financing, capital markets and M&A decisions.
Prior to joining Citi, Anand served as CFO of o9 Solutions, a rapidly scaling AI-powered enterprise planning and decision analytics company. During his tenure, he helped grow the business more than 10x to several hundred million dollars of annual recurring revenue and raised over $500M of financings from prominent global investors. Earlier in his career, Anand was a Managing Director in Technology Investment Banking at Morgan Stanley and J.P. Morgan where he advised clients on over $60 billion of announced M&A and over $45 billion of capital raises. He began his career as a semiconductor engineer and subsequently in corporate strategy at Broadcom.
Anand holds an MBA from UC Berkeley Haas School of Business and Masters and Bachelors degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland and the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras respectively.He is a US Patent holder with eight issued patents.
