Real-world applications of Game Theory
The typical example of game theory (GT) is about two prisoners' dilemma - their individual punishment varies depending on if one or the other confesses, both confess, or neither confess. How does GT explain information leaks from the White House? How can it be used to design game software? Can GT apply to decisions about dating? Can it help me win at Fantasy sports? This talk will introduce the theory and then show you how it is actually much more!
