Unlock the Code: Hacking, Security, and Your Future Career

Technology

Look around—everything from smartphones to smart fridges is connected, making them prime targets for attacks. This talk dives into the world of modern cybersecurity, where hackers are the real-life villains. We’ll break down real-world data breaches, showing you what these attackers are after and how they pull it off—no ‘hackerman’ hoodie required.

So, how do organizations fight back? With a Zero Trust mindset, a game-changing approach to security that’s all about 'never trust, always verify.' But here’s the twist—you can use this same mindset to protect your own digital world, whether you’re leveling up in a game, posting on social media, or just scrolling TikTok.

Finally, we’ll explore some of the dope career paths in this booming field. From ethical hacking (yes, you can legally hack stuff) to digital forensics and threat hunting, cybersecurity is packed with opportunities for anyone who’s into tech, solving puzzles, or wants to make a real difference. Your next big adventure could be in cyber defense—and trust me, it’s way cooler than it sounds.
