One Reality is a Swedish-U.S. startup that is creating VR models of smart sustainable communities for construction companies, port authorities and cities in Copenhagen and Sweden where sustainability has been implemented since the 1970s. Using the Unreal VR Engine, we not only create buildings, but also dynamic movement, such as light rail trails moving, avatars, storms, flooding, and sea rise, which will be useful for resilient city planning and disaster preparedness and recovery. To attract Millennials to the emerging construction tech industry, we plan to gamify urban development through design hackathons and competitions.
